• CB must wrap tight to the Pivot — even a half-meter gap invites a defender in
• Pivot keeps a stable pivot-foot position throughout the wrap action
• LB decoy run must be convincing — sprint full pace to drag the defender wide
• Receive the return pass from the Pivot in shooting position — feet toward goal
• If the wrap lane is congested, abort and reset — forcing it creates turnovers

Typiske fejl

• The wrap-around runner takes too wide a path, arriving late at the circle
• The pivot does not create enough space for the penetrating player
• The pass into the circle is intercepted because it is too slow or too predictable
• The runner enters the 6m area too early and commits a court violation
• Communication between the runner and the pivot is poor — they collide or block each other
