Instructions
- 1A1 drives forward along the upper wing toward the right side of the court
- 2A1 passes inside to A2 at center as A3 begins cutting forward on the lower wing
- 3A2 delivers the ball to A3 who has pushed up along the lower side
- 4A2 drives through the center on a long curving run toward the goal
- 5A3 holds the ball and feeds A2 arriving at the central shooting position
- 6A2 fires a jump shot on goal from the center
Coaching Points
- Wing attackers must make decisive cuts — half-speed runs let defenders recover
- Center player holds the ball one count longer to draw defenders before distributing
- Wing player receives on the move — do not wait static on the goal line
- Crossover movement must be timed: cross when the defender commits to one side
- The finisher should have clear sight of goal — shoot with confidence, not desperation
Common Mistakes
- Wing player receives the ball too deep on the sideline with no angle to shoot or pass
- Back court players do not provide support options for the wing, leaving them isolated
- The attack becomes predictable — always going to the same wing without variation
- Wing player holds the ball too long instead of making a quick decision
- Defensive rotation is not recognized — players attack into a set defense instead of switching sides
