Instructions

- 2P1 passes to P2 arriving at the upper position after calling for the ball
- 3P3 drives forward toward the center calling for the next pass
- 4P2 delivers the ball to P3 in the middle of the court
- 5P4 pushes forward toward goal and receives the pass from P3
- 6P4 finishes with a jump shot on goal
Coaching Points
- Call loudly and clearly before moving — your teammate must hear you
- Give a specific position call: 'Open left wing' not just 'Open'
- Make eye contact with the passer before cutting
- Move as soon as you call — don't wait for acknowledgment
- The receiver calls, the passer decides — respect that split of responsibility
Common Mistakes
- Players call too quietly for teammates to hear in a noisy gym
- Calling after moving instead of before, which removes the communication benefit
- Using vague calls like 'here' instead of specific position calls like 'open left wing'
- Passer ignores the call and passes to whoever they prefer regardless
- Players stop communicating once they are tired or under pressure
