Instructions

  1. 1LB and RB move forward simultaneously to set screens near the defense line
  2. 2CB passes the ball to PV at the pivot position and begins driving through the gap
  3. 3CB cuts between the two screens and advances toward the upper shooting zone
  4. 4PV delivers a return pass to CB clearing past the screens
  5. 5CB drives forward and fires a jump shot on goal from the upper right

Coaching Points

  • Set both screens simultaneously — staggered screens lose the coordination advantage
  • CB reads which side opens first and attacks that gap immediately
  • Screeners must hold position long enough for CB to use them before rolling
  • Pivot distributes off the catch — no dribbling, one-touch to CB's open side
  • Defenders fight through screens over the top — slipping under gives up the shot

Common Mistakes

  • Screens are set too far apart — CB cannot use both effectively in sequence
  • CB uses the screen before it is fully set, reducing its effectiveness
  • Screeners do not hold their position long enough — they roll too early
  • PV receives the ball but is not ready to distribute quickly
  • The continuous flow breaks down after the first repetition as spacing collapses
