Instructions
- 1Setup: 4 attackers in two pairs (wide formation), 2 defenders assigned to pairs
- 2P1 and P2 form left pair, P3 and P4 form right pair
- 3D1 defends P1/P3 line, D2 defends P2/P4 line
- 4D1 and D2 apply active pressure when ball is received
- 5Attackers must pass within 2 seconds of receiving under pressure
- 6No passing to closely marked player - escape passes or diagonal options only
- 7Defenders should hustle but focus on pressure (not interceptions)
- 8Complete 3 full sequences: P1→P3→P4→P2→P1
- 9Key focus: Decision-making, body positioning, escape passing angles
Coaching Points
- Shield the ball with your body as you receive — put yourself between defender and ball
- Look away from your intended target first to draw the defender before making the pass
- Make your decision before the ball arrives; two seconds disappears fast under real pressure
- Step laterally to create a passing angle — don't stand still and hope for space
- Keep the pass low and fast; high passes under pressure are easy to tip or intercept
