- 4Players must have soft hands and be ready to receive at any angle
- 5Focus on redirecting momentum from incoming pass to outgoing pass
- 6Call "TIME" if anyone dribbles - reset and restart
- 7Start at moderate tempo, increase speed gradually
- 8Complete 3-5 full cycles without errors
Coaching Points
- Scan to your next receiver before the ball reaches you — pre-decision is the whole point
- Cushion the catch and redirect; don't stop the ball and re-throw, flow through it
- Keep your feet active and your body angled toward the next receiver as you catch
- If you feel you need to dribble, your positioning or timing is off — fix that, not the rule
- Build to maximum speed only when the pattern is clean; sloppy fast is worse than clean slow
