Instructions
- 1LB pushes forward while PV advances toward goal as T prepares the throw-in
- 2T inbounds the ball to CB at the central position
- 3CB immediately distributes to LB who has moved into a forward position
- 4LB feeds the ball to PV at the high pivot position while RB drives forward on the right
- 5PV delivers a quick pass to RB cutting toward the lower goal line
- 6RB finishes with a jump shot on goal before the defense can organize
Coaching Points
- Thrower inbounds quickly before the defense is set — speed is the primary weapon
- CB must be available the instant the throw-in is called — do not drift
- LB and PV move simultaneously to create two passing options immediately
- Every player must know the sequence in advance — no mid-play communication needed
- RB shoots the instant the goal-line position is available — delay loses the disorganization advantage
Common Mistakes
- The throw-in is taken too slowly, allowing the defense to set up
- Players cluster near the thrower instead of spreading to create passing angles
- The first pass after the throw-in goes backward instead of forward toward the goal
- Off-ball players do not make timed runs, standing and waiting for the ball
- The throw-in play is the same every time, making it easy for the defense to anticipate
