Instructions
- 1LW pushes forward on the upper wing while PV advances near goal simultaneously
- 2CB delivers the ball to LW arriving on the upper right side
- 3LW passes across to PV who has moved into the high pivot position
- 4RB drives forward along the lower side toward the shooting zone
- 5PV feeds RB cutting toward the lower goal line
- 6RB finishes with a jump shot on goal from the lower right
Coaching Points
- Mental reset is the goal of the timeout — arrive at the restart calm and clear
- The pre-planned sequence must be executed exactly as rehearsed — trust the preparation
- CB holds the ball deliberately at the start — do not rush the initial setup
- RB shoots on the first genuine opening — waiting for a better chance rarely produces one
- Regaining momentum requires composure: controlled aggression, not panic
Common Mistakes
- Players rush the restart instead of executing the pre-planned sequence calmly
- The initial hold by CB is skipped — the ball is passed before the team is in position
- LW and PV do not move simultaneously, breaking the triangle formation
- RB does not shoot on the first opening, waiting for a better chance that never comes
- Players forget the rehearsed play under the pressure of the match situation
