Coach calls timeout. Team regroups and executes a pre-planned quick attack to regain momentum after the 60-second break.

Instructions

  1. 1After timeout, team has 60 seconds to mentally reset
  2. 2Calmly execute predetermined play pattern
  3. 3CB holds ball momentarily while team rotates
  4. 4LW and PV move simultaneously to create triangle
  5. 5Sequence: CB → LW → PV → RB → SHOOT
  6. 6Focus on execution confidence not rushing
  7. 7RB shoots on first open opportunity
  8. 8Goal: Score within 30 seconds of timeout resumption
  9. 9Regain possession advantage and momentum

Coaching Points

  • Mental reset is the goal of the timeout — arrive at the restart calm and clear
  • The pre-planned sequence must be executed exactly as rehearsed — trust the preparation
  • CB holds the ball deliberately at the start — do not rush the initial setup
  • RB shoots on the first genuine opening — waiting for a better chance rarely produces one
  • Regaining momentum requires composure: controlled aggression, not panic
