Instructions
- 1CB advances and passes to LB on the left side
- 2LB receives and sends a flat cross-court pass to RB on the right
- 3RB receives and immediately returns the ball back to CB at center
- 4CB moves forward to receive the return pass with momentum toward 9m
- 5CB fires a jump shot from the 9m line targeting the upper corner
Coaching Points
- Keep the ball moving — no player should hold longer than one second
- CB: start your forward movement before the return pass arrives
- Cross-court passes must be flat and fast — no lobbed balls
- Build rhythm first, then add speed with each repetition
- Shooter: gather momentum into the shot — don't stop to shoot
Common Mistakes
- Players hold the ball too long, breaking the rhythm of the rotation
- Cross-court passes are lobbed instead of delivered flat and fast
- CB stops moving after passing and has to restart from a standstill for the shot
- Rotation pattern breaks down because players forget the passing sequence
- Shooter arrives at 9m stationary instead of carrying forward momentum into the jump
