Instructions
- 1LB starts with the ball and passes to CB at center while advancing
- 2CB receives and immediately distributes to RB on the right
- 3As RB receives, LB cuts diagonally toward the left 9m zone
- 4RB sends a quick return pass to the cutting LB
- 5LB catches with forward momentum and finishes with a jump shot
Coaching Points
- LB: begin your cut to goal the moment RB touches the ball
- Every touch should have purpose — scan before you receive
- RB: redirect the ball in one touch, don't re-grip and re-aim
- The shooter must arrive at 9m in motion, never stationary
- Count the passes aloud in training to build automatic rhythm
Common Mistakes
- LB begins the cut too late and arrives at 9m after the passing sequence is complete
- RB catches the ball, pauses, and re-aims instead of redirecting in one touch
- Passes lack crispness, slowing down the entire combination
- LB shoots from a stationary position instead of attacking the 9m line with momentum
- Players skip scanning and pass blindly, leading to turnovers
