Instructions

  1. 1A1 initiates fast break in center with two supporting wings
  2. 2A2 and A3 sprint to opposite flanks simultaneously
  3. 3D1 and D2 try to cut passing lanes and limit options
  4. 4A1 must read defense and pass to most open wing
  5. 5Receiver continues attack, can pass to backing player
  6. 6Focus on width, spacing, and quick decision-making

Coaching Points

  • Wings must sprint to the sideline — width is what creates the advantage
  • A1 reads the first defender to commit, then passes to the opposite side
  • Keep the ball moving; one extra dribble lets the defense reset
  • The third pass should be a shot, not another pass
  • Call out defender positions so A1 makes the right read quickly
