Instructions

  1. 1P1 passes clockwise to P2 on the right side of the circle
  2. 2P2 relays to P3, then P3 to P4, continuing around the full circle to P5
  3. 3P5 completes the cycle by passing back to P1 at the top of the circle
  4. 4All five players rotate one position clockwise while maintaining the circle shape

Coaching Points

  • Keep the circle shape consistent — gaps in the circle invite defensive pressure
  • Pass with rhythm: same pace every time so the receiver can anticipate
  • Rotate position smoothly — move immediately after passing, not after the next pass arrives
  • Eyes must track the ball and the player two spots ahead simultaneously
  • Increase speed progressively over each rotation cycle to build intensity

Common Mistakes

  • The circle shape deforms — players drift toward or away from the center
  • Passes lack rhythm — some are fast, some are slow, disrupting the flow
  • Players do not rotate to the next position after passing, breaking the pattern
  • Eyes stay fixed on the ball only — no awareness of players two spots ahead
  • Speed drops off after the first rotation as concentration fades
