Instructions
- 1P1 passes clockwise to P2 on the right side of the circle
- 2P2 relays to P3, then P3 to P4, continuing around the full circle to P5
- 3P5 completes the cycle by passing back to P1 at the top of the circle
- 4All five players rotate one position clockwise while maintaining the circle shape
Coaching Points
- Keep the circle shape consistent — gaps in the circle invite defensive pressure
- Pass with rhythm: same pace every time so the receiver can anticipate
- Rotate position smoothly — move immediately after passing, not after the next pass arrives
- Eyes must track the ball and the player two spots ahead simultaneously
- Increase speed progressively over each rotation cycle to build intensity
Common Mistakes
- The circle shape deforms — players drift toward or away from the center
- Passes lack rhythm — some are fast, some are slow, disrupting the flow
- Players do not rotate to the next position after passing, breaking the pattern
- Eyes stay fixed on the ball only — no awareness of players two spots ahead
- Speed drops off after the first rotation as concentration fades
