Instructions
- 1CB outlet pass starts the break immediately - no hesitation
- 2Both wings sprint at full speed to width of court
- 3PV advances ball quickly down center - read defense ahead
- 4Trailer T1 fills middle lane as fifth attacker (creates 5v4)
- 5Quick decision: shoot or pass based on defender movement
- 6Wing player passes back to trailer for highest percentage shot
- 7Trailer player must time entry to goal - avoid walking into defender
- 8If defense sets, fire outside shot - do not force interior
Coaching Points
- CB must release the outlet pass on the catch, not after surveying the court
- Wings run the full sideline — staying narrow compresses the defense's job
- T1 reads the wing's body language to time entry into the scoring zone
- When the wing draws both defenders, the back-pass to T1 is automatic
- Never force the ball into a collapsed interior — take the open outside shot
