Instructions
- 1Arrange players in two lines facing each other, 5-6 meters apart
- 2Create three diagonal passing lanes (alternating from left-right lines)
- 3Start rapid diagonal passes: P1→P2→P3→P4→P5→P6→P1
- 4Players move slightly forward after each pass to maintain distance
- 5Increase tempo after first round - aim for 2-second cycles
- 6Focus on one-touch passing where possible
Coaching Points
- Step diagonally into each pass — never throw from a stationary square stance
- Aim for the receiver's outside hand so they can redirect without resetting
- Keep the passing lanes sharp and narrow; wide diagonal passes telegraph the direction
- Maintain consistent spacing — drifting too close removes the drill's purpose
- Increase tempo only when the previous speed produces zero errors
