Instructions
- 1Triangle 1 starts: P1 passes to P2 and moves to center on the left side
- 2Triangle 2 begins moments later: P4 passes to P5 at center court
- 3Triangle 3 follows: P7 passes to P8 on the right side
- 4Each triangle cycles independently: P2 to P3 to P1, P5 to P6 to P4, P8 to P9 to P7
- 5All three triangles pass simultaneously with staggered timing
Coaching Points
- Each triangle must maintain its own tempo — don't get distracted by the adjacent triangles
- Players at the overlap points must be especially sharp; they influence two triangles simultaneously
- Call out your triangle number before passing between triangles to avoid confusion
- Keep passes flat and fast — airborne passes create timing gaps across all three triangles
- After mastering fixed triangles, add a trigger word to send the ball between triangles
Common Mistakes
- Adjacent triangles falling into each other's rhythm instead of maintaining independent tempo
- Overlap players confusing which triangle they are currently passing for
- Passes between triangles are lobbed instead of flat and fast
- No verbal call when transitioning the ball between triangles, causing confusion
- One triangle stopping when an error occurs in another, breaking all three rhythms
