Instructions

  1. 1All four players jog forward in a line maintaining 10m spacing
  2. 2Player 1 passes ahead to Player 2 while both are moving
  3. 3Player 2 receives and passes forward to Player 3 in stride
  4. 4Player 3 delivers the ball to Player 4 at the front
  5. 5Each passer accelerates after releasing to reform the line ahead

Coaching Points

  • Keep the jogging pace steady — this is a warm-up, not a race
  • Pass while moving — do not stop your feet to deliver the ball
  • After passing, accelerate to reform the line ahead quickly
  • Call the receiver's name before releasing the pass
  • Focus on smooth transitions between jog and sprint phases

Common Mistakes

  • Players stop their feet completely when passing instead of passing on the move
  • Passes are too high or lobbed, slowing down the rhythm
  • Runners bunch up instead of maintaining 10m spacing
  • Players jog too fast too early, skipping the gradual warm-up phase
  • No verbal communication before passes leading to dropped balls
