Instructions
- 1Feeder stands at the top; players start on the left side
- 2Player 1 shuffles laterally across the court toward center
- 3Feeder passes to the shuffling player at the midpoint
- 4Player catches, returns the pass, and continues shuffling right
- 5Next player begins shuffling as the previous one clears center
Coaching Points
- Hips stay low throughout the shuffle
- Face forward at all times — do not turn the body
- Hands ready to catch before the ball arrives
Common Mistakes
- Crossing feet during the lateral shuffle instead of maintaining side-step form
- Rising out of the low stance during the shuffle
- Turning the body toward the feeder instead of facing forward
- Catching with arms extended down instead of hands up at chest height
