Wrist Passing Warm-Up

Players work in pairs at close range exchanging rapid wrist-snap passes to warm up the shoulders, forearms, and grip. Excellent finger and wrist activation before high-intensity passing drills.

Instructions

  1. 1Pair up facing each other 3-4 meters apart
  2. 2Use only wrist and finger snap — no full arm swing
  3. 3Exchange passes at high frequency for 30 seconds
  4. 4Gradually increase distance to 5-6 meters
  5. 5Alternate hands — left arm passing for 30 seconds
  6. 6Finish with standard overhead passes

Coaching Points

  • Snap the wrist firmly on release
  • Fingers spread on catch to absorb the ball
  • Keep elbow up through the pass
